Orchestra Banquet

It’s in less than three hours! How exciting. I hope a lot of people come, or else it’ll be a little embarrassing when I tell the waiter about the reservation for 60 and we only have a party of 30 or so. Everyone said they could come when I asked that first time, but now a bunch of people are flaking. But I’m pretty a few more people who haven’t paid yet will show up. I hope so, at least.

I feel like this banquet is my baby since I had to plan the whole thing because my orchestra teacher is lame. It’s my teacher’s first year, so I guess I should cut him some slack.

It did make me pretty sad when some of my closest friends told me that they don’t want to go to the banquet. But that’s just how it is, I suppose. I’ll have awesome friends there for sure anyway, so it’ll be fine for me.
